The Hans Schmidt is an Austrian-Hungarian merchant ship, built in 1882 and sunk on December 6th, 1898, after a crash with Italian ship Capraia on the way from Venice to New York. The wreck has broken in two parts, a bow of 10 meters long and the rest which is located 10 meters away. This enormous 99 meter long and 12 meter wide wreck is an excellent shipwreck for wreck divers and those who would like to enter it. There is a type of anchor which has not been produced for more than 100 years. In consideration of its oldness, it is very well preserved and interesting for scuba diving.
