The John Gilmore is considered as one of the first ship which was sunk in this area at the beginning of WWI, the First World War. During its history, the ship has been changing ownership and flags numerous times, so we can't establish its last name. It was built in a shipyard in England (50 meter long and 8 meter wide) equipped with J. Gilmore's engines, and that's why it was given this name. The merchant ship is completely preserved with excellent opportunities to penetrate the wreck. Normally, there is good visibility with weak currents.
