The Josephina is a cargo boat, built in 1864 and property of the Austrian-Hungarian mercantile marine. This 61 meter long and 8 meter wide ship was sunk on the 17th of November 1864, because she struck a mine while sailing on between Arsa and Trieste. The bow is separated from the rest of the ship because of the strong explosion. Nowadays, you can find it at ten meters away from the ship. She is located in an upright position making it an excellent wreck penetration dive. There are a few fishing nets on the wreck that present no real danger for divers.
